Oliver Brown and I do a podcast where we talk about podcasts, specifically bad ones, and investigate the topic: do all influencers really need a podcast? A rerecording of our initial Digital Culture Audio Project, we tried incorporating a more conversational tone into it, to make it feel more natural.
We took Professor Swerzenski’s advice on doing a “moron and expert”-style structure, with me being the moron and Oliver being the expert. (JD definitely didn’t call it “moron and expert” but we’re rolling with that).
An issue of going less scripted is that both of us tend to stutter, but I still think it worked out, as a main point of criticism for our original project is that it didn’t take advantage of it being two of us, which isn’t the case for this take, as we play off of each other a lot better.
